Referrals are accepted from all primary and secondary Health Care professionals.
Referring health care professionals should complete a service referral form and e-mail (via NHS Mail) to northwestdiagnostics@nhs.net.
Referrals for ultrasound scans need to be sent via eRS.
Urgent referrals should be clearly marked URGENT.
Patients are informed of their appointment by post/telephone call or text message.
Reports will be e-mailed (via NHS Mail) to the referring health care professional within the specified time frames.
